Rock and Water Program in the USA.

Freerk Ykema has been invited to present a 3 day Rock and Water Seminar in Atlanta Georgia. American educators recently participated in a training in the Netherlands and were highly impressed with its potential to effect behavioural change and empower students. They have organised the inaugural USA Seminar to take place 24th, 25th and 26th February. Rock and Water and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

Following 3 years of intensive trials in the Netherlands, Freerk Ykema has developed a new two day seminar supported by a new manual with many adaptations and new exercises. This seminar is open for teachers, parents, therapists, social trainers education assistants and of course also Rock and Water accredited trainers.

The unique Rock and Water approach helps children (and adults) diagnosed with ASD to develop more body-emotional and self awareness, more self control and assertiveness, more body language awareness, less feelings of anxiety and better communication skills.

Anyone working with children, youth or adults who are challenged with ASD issues will find this program invaluable

The 2 Day Training will be introduced through the Family Action Centre- University of Newcastle in October 2011.

This will meet a demand in the Eastern States.

Edu Solutions are currently planning a 2 Day Training Workshop for October/ November 2011 in Fremantle for Western Australia.
