Paul Stein Dip Teach, Grad Dip Outdoor Pursuits, B Sc.
Paul Stein has been a primary and high school teacher, school administrator, university lecturer and environmental scientist with over 35 years experience. He is currently a Master Trainer/Instructor in Rock and Water and now devotes all of his time facilitating workshops for teachers, administrators, school psychologists, chaplains and youth. He was nominated for the prestigious ‘Premier’s Teachers Award’ in 2007 and was the coordinator for Follow the Dream, an innovative program for indigenous youth, in both Kalgoorlie in 2006 and at Mt Lawley Senior High School in 2011.
Bill Johnstone Dip Teach, B.Ed
William (Bill) Johnstone is a primary school teacher with over 30 years of experience. In a wide and varied career Bill has had roles ranging from pre primary to deputy principal. He is a recipient of a National NEiTA Foundation Award for Excellence in Teaching, an Australian Scholarship Foundation Research Grant looking at Boys in Education issues, The Westfield Premiers Education Prize and a Rotary Civic Award for Innovations in Education. Bill has been a presenter at numerous local, national and international workshops on topics related to Boys in Education. He currently manages the Rock and Water Program in Western Australia. Bill served as a judging panel member for the NEiTA Foundation in Western Australia. He has many community links and is the volunteer coordinator for the Fremantle Men’s Community Shed.
